Raphael Miro Holzer is a choreographer, movement director and pedagogue based in Barcelona and Vienna. Raphael specializes in the field of contemporary dance. He is interested in exploring how language plays into contemporary dance as well as continuously developing his Blueprint choreographic method, which transcends cultural barriers. 


 Raphael wants to be in dialogue with other creative disciplines in order to push the boundaries of what dance can be. In 2021, he founded the dance company vanholzers as a platform for his choreographic works. In 2021 he received the AISGE Foundation Award for his first choreographic work, desire de parag√ľas. As part of the DantzaZ Residence Award, he will create a work with the Basque Company in 2022.
