RAPHAEL MIRO HOLZER is a performer, choreographer and dance pedagogue. Born in Vienna in 1994.

As a dancer, he has been learning for some of the greatest names of contemporary dance, such as Lance Gries and Lorena Nogal he also has been working with Elvi Balboa and Evgeny Kozlov (Do -Theater St. Petersburg). In particular, he was strongly inspired by Veronica Cendoya, while he was part of the creation of “BOGUMER” which will debut in Mercat de les Flors. 

Moreover, Raphael's first choreographic piece -PROGRESS- was debuted at Nunart(Barcelona) and Teatre Alegria (Terrassa), part of the Transversal Festival. In 2021 he established the dance company vanholzer as a platform for his further choreographic works. 

Currently, Raphael has been working both in theatre and dance context. His artistic vision focuses on his interest in exploring the role of language in contemporary dance and how to combine dance with other cultural expressions aswell he is continously working on the mythology BLUEPRINT.
