Raphael Miro Holzer is a performer, choreographer and dance pedagogue. Born in Vienna in 1994, he completed a diploma in Leisure Education before studying Movement and Performance Studies (Dance Education) at the Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität (Linz, Austria), receiving  an Honour Scholarship at Bühnenwerkstatt Graz. Later on, in 2019, he decided to complete his BA degree at this university.

During his young career, Raphael has been dancing for some of the greatest names of contemporary dance, such as Lance Gries and Lorena Nogal and he has been working with Elvi Balboa (ElviBalboa) and Evgeny Kozlov (Do -Theater St. Petersburg). In particular, he was strongly inspired by Veronica Cendoya, while he was part of the creation of “BOGUMER” which will debut in Mercat de les Flors.

In (2020), he was appointed to be the movement director of the Theater Piece “ESTRIPtis”, written by Manel Dueso and directed by Dobrin Plamenov.

Moreover, Raphael's first choreographic piece -PROGRESS- was debuted at Nunart(Barcelona) and Teatre Alegria (Terrassa), part of the Transversal Festival. The performance highlighted his talent and creative language, by receiving very positive feedback from the audience and dramaturges present.

Currently, Raphael has been working both in theatre and dance between Barcelona and Vienna.
