Raphael Miro Holzer is a awardwinning dance maker, curator, and esteemed pedagogue whose work has consistently pushed the boundaries of dance. Known for his innovative approach, Raphael continuously evolves his choreographic method, Blueprint, to explore new dimensions in movement and expression.
Additionally, as a curator, he contributes his network and expertise to the project bluebox in Vienna, further cementing his influence in the world of dance and beyond.

As a dancer Raphael has worked with and learned from artists such as Ismael Ivo (Impulstanz/Biennale di Venezia), Lorena Nogal (La Veronal), Evgeny Kozlov (Do-Theater) and Lance Grieß (Trisha Brown Company)
In 2021, Raphael founded the dance company vanholzers, establishing a dynamic platform for his cutting-edge choreographic works. His debut choreographic creation, "desire de paragüas" earned him the prestigious Premio Fundación AISGE and the dantzaZ residency award. That same year, the spanish dancemagazine Fila Zero recognized his exceptional talent by naming him one of the top up and coming dancemakers.
Raphael's return to his home country Austria marked a significant milestone in his career: As part of tanztage23, Posthof - Linz showcased a triple bill of his works, which received rave reviews for their creativity and impact. Following that he created a work for Ballet Arabesque, Bulgaria's National Contemporary Dance Company, which culminated in a stunning premiere at the State Music and Ballet Center Sofia.
His choreography for the film "Truth is in the Details" has garnered international acclaim, winning the several awards such as "Best Choreography" and "Best Concept" among others. The film is screening at festivals worldwide.
